Investor reports

Write multifamily investor reports with AI, safely.

AI is good at turning a quarter’s numbers and an asset manager’s notes into readable property narratives. It is not a source of numbers. The safe process draws every figure from the books, lets AI draft the words, and keeps a person responsible for every sentence investors read.

Draft from the books

The draft reads the quarter’s statement as it stands. When a late adjustment changes a figure, the report lists it under Data changed, and the quarter cannot be locked until each change is applied or dismissed.

02 /

Give the draft context

  • The quarter’s statement against budget and prior year
  • Occupancy, leasing, collections and renewal results
  • Action Center items you chose to include
  • Your notes on capital projects, staffing and market conditions
03 /

Review every sentence

Read each draft against the tables. Flag any sentence that needs an answer; flagged sentences block export until they are resolved.

Ask your assistant
  • Draft the Q3 overview for Northline from the figures and my notes.
  • Which sections still have open review flags?
04 /

Export and archive

When every flag is resolved, export per property or for the full quarter, then lock the quarter. The lock archives the reports and financial statements investors received.

Questions

Questions owners ask

Can AI write LP reports without inventing numbers?
Yes, if it never calculates. Pull every figure from the locked quarter’s statement and let the model write only the narrative around those figures.
What review controls should AI-drafted investor reports have?
A locked quarter, sentence-level flags for anything that needs an answer, export blocked until flags are cleared, and an archived copy of what investors received.
